The beloved owner of Knaus Berry Farm, Rachel Knaus Grafe, has tragically passed away following an alleged attack by her son, Travis Grafe.
The incident occurred on February 17 at their home in the Redlands, where Rachel and her husband, Herbert Grafe, were attacked by their 30-year-old son.

According to WSVN-TV, Travis Grafe allegedly used a blunt object to attack his parents.
Herbert Grafe survived the attack and has been recovering, while Rachel Knaus Grafe fought for her life for two weeks before passing away.
In a statement on Instagram, Knaus Berry Farm announced the news of Rachel’s passing and expressed their gratitude to the community for their support during this difficult time.
The farm will be open for the remainder of the week as they prepare to “celebrate” Rachel’s life.
Miami-Dade County Mayor Daniella Levine Cava also expressed her condolences on the Knaus Berry Farm Instagram post.
She remembered Rachel Grafe as “a woman of strength and grace who embodied the values of hard work, family, and community.”
The attack was reported to the Miami-Dade Police Department as a violent domestic dispute. Travis Grafe fled the scene after the attack, but was later apprehended by authorities.
He reportedly has a traumatic brain injury and is currently being held on $25,000 bond at Miami-Dade County Corrections and Rehabilitation.
Travis Grafe is facing four charges, including attempted murder, robbery, and two counts of aggravated battery.
