Millard, a married father of five, was last seen at Happy’s Irish Pub in Baton Rouge after attending an LSU basketball game with a client.

Millard left the bar around 11:30 p.m. and was last seen walking towards the Courtyard Marriott hotel in downtown Baton Rouge, where he was staying.

Matt Still, Millard’s high school friend, told Fox News Digital that the bar was just a two-minute walk from the hotel, but Millard never made it back to his room.

On Saturday, Tim Miller, founder of Texas EquuSearch, a nonprofit organization that helps find missing persons, said his team was assisting with the search for Nathan Millard.

The location where Millard’s body was discovered is approximately a 7-minute drive from Happy’s.

BRPD has not released any further information regarding Millard’s disappearance and death.

However, Baton Rouge police apparently showed Millard’s wife video footage of someone using his credit card, which has been used multiple times since Millard was last seen, according to Still.

The investigation is ongoing, and authorities are urging anyone with information about the case to contact BRPD’s Missing Persons Division at (225) 389-3853 or Crime Stoppers at (225) 344-7867.
