Oaklee Snow Missing: Indianapolis police are asking for the public’s assistance in locating a toddler who has been reported missing in Oklahoma.

The Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department (IMPD) is working with police in Seminole County, Oklahoma, in the search for 2-year-old Oaklee Snow. Authorities believe that Oaklee may be in the Indianapolis area.

The toddler was last seen in Cromwell, Oklahoma, on Thursday, January 19, 2023, and is believed to have traveled to Indianapolis with her mother, Madison Marshall.

If you have seen Oaklee or Madison, please call 911 immediately. You may also contact the IMPD Missing Persons Unit at 317-327-6160 or Crime Stoppers of Central Indiana at 317-262-TIPS.

It is important to note that there are specific standards that must be met for a person’s disappearance to qualify for an Amber Alert or a Silver Alert.

Amber Alerts are issued for children under the age of 18 who are believed to have been abducted and are in danger.

Police must also have information about a suspect and their car to issue an Amber Alert. Silver Alerts, on the other hand, are issued for missing and endangered adults or children.

While they are much more common for missing people, the standards for Silver Alerts were expanded to include children only last year.

In both cases, it is up to the police to issue the alerts. Therefore, if you have any information regarding Oaklee’s whereabouts, please contact the authorities immediately.
