Nathan Millard Cause of death: The body of a father of five from Georgia who had gone missing while on a business trip to Baton Rouge last month has been found in a vacant lot.

Nathan Millard, aged 42, was found dead on Monday morning in the 2900 block of Scenic Hwy, approximately three miles away from Happy’s Irish Pub, where he was last seen alive.

Millard was in the area to scout a job site for the construction company he worked for.

What was Nathan Millard Cause of death?

According to the Baton Rouge Police Department, Millard’s cause of death is unknown and will be determined by the East Baton Rouge Parish Coroner’s Office. The police have said that his death is currently under investigation.

Millard’s remains were discovered rolled up in carpet and covered in plastic.

Texas EquuSearch, a nonprofit dedicated to finding missing people, had offered a reward of up to $10,000 for any information about Millard’s whereabouts.

The organization began their search last week. Police were alerted to Millard’s body after receiving a call from a passerby who reported a foul odor coming from the vacant lot.

Millard’s wife, Amber, had previously stated that her husband had traveled to Baton Rouge for what was supposed to be a 24-hour business trip.

After watching a basketball game at Louisiana State University and having drinks at the pub with his work client, Millard never made it back to his hotel room, which was just a short walk away.

The room had not been disturbed, and Millard had not shown up for a scheduled meeting the next morning.

Surveillance footage showed Millard leaving the Courtyard Marriott where he was staying with his work client.

Millard’s phone was found close to his hotel, and his debit card had been used following his disappearance.

Amber had said that her husband had FaceTimed her that night from the LSU basketball game, and there had been no text message from him when she woke up the next morning, which was unusual.

According to Amber, the police had told her that they had surveillance footage of a person withdrawing money from Millard’s debit card at an ATM near a Greyhound bus station.

The police have said that no arrests have been made, and the investigation is ongoing.

Millard was a father to four teenage boys and a seven-year-old daughter. He was on the business trip to stake out a prospective job site for his Conyers-based company, Advanced Construction.
