Liam Hemsworth was born on January 13, 1990, in Melbourne, Australia. He is the youngest of three brothers and the son of Leonie and Craig Hemsworth. His mother is an English teacher, and his father works as a social-services counselor.
Hemsworth started his acting career in 2007, playing Josh Taylor in the Australian soap opera Neighbours. He also appeared in the TV series The Elephant Princess and Satisfaction before making his film debut in the Australian film Triangle in 2009.
