Police Appeal for Public Assistance to Locate Missing Woman from Sydney's North-West
Police are continuing to appeal for public assistance as they search for 59-year-old Leslie Weldon, who has been reported missing from Sydney's north-west. A geo-targeted message has been issued as part of the search efforts.
According to reports, Leslie was last seen leaving a hospital on Hawkesbury Road, Westmead, at around 2 pm on Monday, March 6, 2023. When she could not be located or contacted, she was reported missing to officers from Parramatta Police Area Command, who are currently conducting inquiries to locate her.
Family and police hold serious concerns for Leslie's welfare due to medical conditions that require treatment. Leslie is described as being of Aboriginal/Torres Strait Islander appearance, about 150cm tall, of slim build, with red shoulder-length hair and brown eyes.
She was last seen wearing a blue and white t-shirt with flowers, blue denim jeans, and black thongs. Leslie is known to frequent the Leichhardt, Rozelle, Redfern, and Parramatta areas.
Anyone who has information about Leslie's whereabouts is urged to contact Parramatta police or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000. Information can also be provided to Crime Stoppers online at https://nsw.crimestoppers.com.au.
