The Oklahoma Highway Patrol has issued an Amber Alert for an 11-month-old boy and an 11-year-old girl, who were reportedly abducted by their non-custodial father, Gary Underwood.
According to officials, Underwood is known to be armed and violent, and has a no-bond outstanding warrant through Chickasaw Lighthorse for domestic assault by strangulation.
The two children, Kodan Underwood and Trinity Underwood, were last seen in Pontotoc County, and are believed to be heading north with their father.
The Amber Alert was issued on Wednesday on behalf of Chickasaw Lighthorse PD.
Trinity was last seen wearing a beige mushroom print sweater and blue jeans. Officials have described Underwood as driving an older model Monte Carlo or a blue 1998 Chevy single cab with a Chickasaw tag reading CN26572.
The public has been urged to report any sightings of Underwood or the two children immediately by calling 911. Underwood is considered to be armed and dangerous, and should not be approached.
The Oklahoma Highway Patrol and Chickasaw Lighthorse PD are working tirelessly to locate the missing children and apprehend Underwood. Anyone with any information that could assist in the search is urged to come forward and share it with the authorities.
