After completing her college career, Plum was drafted first overall in the 2017 WNBA draft by the San Antonio Stars, which later became the Las Vegas Aces.
In her rookie year, Plum showed promise, averaging 8.5 points and 3.0 assists per game. However, it was in the 2019 WNBA season that she truly shone, averaging 16.8 points and 3.8 assists per game, earning her a spot on the WNBA All-Star team.
